Well it’s week 6. I have tried to update every Thursday and I think this Thursday there will be more definites than could be’s

I believe these chicks are Mille Fleur d’Uccles - the speckles are starting to show. And i am really positive that at least 2 are roo’s. One even has his neck feathers coming in. Plus lately these 2 have been doing a lot of chest pumping of each other. There combs are very noticeable. They just behave differently then the other 3.

Next phase… or question when is the proper time to get them out of my house and in the coop. I only have 1 porcelain Duccle rooster and 2 big size hens on loan to keep my george happy. I have a heat source in the coop. And right now it’s 80 degrees outside.

Intuition can go a long way when you're interacting with young chickens, but I don't see signs of them being cockerels in the photos. Combs are small and pale, and the coloring is pretty even. I would give them some more time if you were planning on getting rid of cockerels.

You can move those chicks out to the coop any time. They are well feathered. It usually helps to keep them in a cage within the coop for a few days so everyone can get to know each other before they are mingled together. This often cuts down on attacks when the time comes. Good luck.

They look like pullets so far to me. My two cockerels had giant red combs and patchy feather coloring at less than 4 weeks. It’s also not uncommon for females to act aggressively toward one another.
