Out of 21 chicks we might have 8.
Power is just now on.
I do not know if my hatching eggs are OK or not. They did go down to 85 before I got the power converter going for them.
We are right in the middle of a state declared disaster area. Lots of people will not have power for days.
So far no deaths in our little town.

Ugh, I'm so sorry with all the things going wrong. I hope they turn around quickly and gain strength and vigor.

Your eggs should be okay. I've had mine go down to 82˚ and then down to 69˚ another time this week because of power outages. The chicks are still moving inside. I was really pleasantly surprised, especially after them being at 69 for a few hours.

Thanks for the encouragement.......I had to move the ones that were on day 21. They rolled, one is pretty smashed.....poor things, I am still hoping.
At least we had a house to come back to.....fires out west look terrible.

My daughter and family live in Peoria.

I am so sorry for all your troubles and all coming at once.

Lots south of Peoria. South of Marion, I think Marion managed to be mentioned on the national news. Thousands without power or water still. A few stores managed to open in the worse areas. They are hoping to have power back to everyone by Tuesday night.
