Week old chick unresponsive

No I wouldn’t say it’s only her neck. It’s like her whole body is limp. She can’t stand but I can see some movement in her legs and wings every couple hours. She seems so very tired. She is definitely having trouble with the neck though and tries to hold it up but can’t so a pic of the brace would be amazing thank you so much!
Okay! Let me get you a picture! This just happened today, correct? If so, she will need lots of time to recover 😅

The Poultry Cell has E and B1 (thiamine) and B2 (riboflavin) which can help with her neck and curled toes. I’m glad that she is a little more responsive and hope that she keeps getting stronger. Time will tell. Good luck.

Chicks can start going outside at 7 weeks. I would not shock them and put them outside when they are only a week old. Going into the "cold" can really cause issues🥰 if it's around 75-80F outside then that would be OK.
They were born outside - they were hatched via a broody hen and I let her decide when they’re ready to venture out a little and when they need heat. It was 67 degrees when they were outside in the sun so I really don’t think that’s why. The other chicks are still just fine. This was something very sudden and more traumatic than just the cold (she’s been inside under a heat lamp for 6 hours)

I see! So maybe it was the dog!

Okay, here is my brace I made for my full grown roo. I'm sure if look up how too make brace for a chick, something will come up.

The back was taped together. I used the cardboard from the paper towel roll to make his. You might need to use the cardboard from the toilet paper roll since its smaller and fit it around her neck. 🥰 hope this helps!

The back of mine.

I would probably wait about any neck brace on the chick. It is too young, and could impair breathing. It may have wry neck, a neurological symptom from brain or neck trauma, but since it seems stable now, let’s hope that the chick lives overnight and gets stronger.
