I have 22 bantam week old chicks, they are on news paper with paper towels on top for nonslip-ness and they've been eating chick starter...and a silkie chick and a Silver Sebright seems to have a prolapse?

It looks like a tiny bit of their butt is inside out, and it was poopy so I cleaned their butts with warm water and put prep-H on their butts....does anyone know about this problem?

I bought my chicks straight run from cackle hatchery, but maybe they were sexed anyway?

I would be grateful if anyone could help me.

The only thing I can think of is what you've done. Preparation H with a Q-tip and slight pressure inward.

Are the pooping OK?

No not irritation...there is like a red pimple sized little bump thingy stick a bit out of their butts that is definitly part of them...it really reminded me of when my leopard gecko had a prolapse.....
