Try sticking your hand in the brooder and filling it with feed or treats, temptation often overcomes fear and they will start eating out of your hand, make slow gestures, speak with a soft voice, try to make yourself least as threatening as possible to them, It is their nature to be afraid of anything bigger than them. It will take some time so don't get discouraged if she doesn't warm up to you after a few tries.

I do have a clear bin, so I defintly think that helps. He's not so much skiddish as I just want him to be as comfortable with me as possible.

I found the best way to get skittish birds to take down, is to put them in a aquarium or a guinea pig cage with bars so they can see you approaching. I can't tell if yours are in a clear sided box or not, those don't have the same effect for some reason though. Anyway, my 4 week old Bobwhites who were crazy as chicks, tamed way down once I put them in the guinea pig cage. Usually they have side doors too. In a brooder box you have to reach in through the top, where in a cage you can reach through the side. Just a tip. Good luck wirh your cuties!

When ours are still inside my husband an I will sit on the floor an let our Runners run around on the floor. They will usually climb into our laps or lay next to us. We don’t push it just sit quietly an let them come to us.

Thank you so much that is really helpful. I read a book to him tonight lol and he seemed to enjoy it I think he's getting more comfortable! I just hope it lasts once he is older.

I can get about 4-5 of my 9 Runners to eat out of my hand when I offer meal worms. And I can pick up 2 of my youngest Runners and snuggle for a few mins. They will be a year old the 24th. I have to walk the rest into their coop and catch them if I want to pick them us. I rarely do this unless needed. I am happy just to able to walk by them now if they are all out laying around resting instead of getting up an running for their lives. lol
