This weekend I finally got to the feed store and picked up my chicks (twenty, six of which are guinea fowl). That said, the guy who runs the place was not available, so I have no clue what I purchased - busted picked what looked cute and a bunch of yellow ones since my dad wanted yellow. I am hoping some of you can help me out! I have included a few photos of each:

LUMPY:
(I think this is either a Molted Houdan or a polish - same with Dot. Both have 4 toes)
(first photo is from two days ago)

Salmon Faverolle

#1. Mottled Houdan
#2. Mottled Houdan
#3. Some sort of Red Production breed....not terribly familiar with those.
#4. Looks like there's pink on bottoms of feet, so Black Australorp
#5. Speckled Sussex
#6. White Rock or White Leghorn. Time will tell which.
#7. Either Lavender or Splash something - most likely singled-combed, but a picture would be nice as confirmation.
#7. Salmon Faverolles
#8. Salmon Faverolles

Thanks everyone! yall are always so fast & helpful!! Below are some questions/follow ups

Just out of curiosity, for #6, what colour ears belong to each of the white rock and white leghorn so I know what to watch for once she's older?

I have attached more pics of the comb for the 7th chicken - the white with blue legs - i think its a pea comb but not sure..

For the last two however, are yall sure they are the same breed? The first one has much smaller wings and no tail compared to the second, and slightly different feather colours - and i have a few of each - so i dont think it is just a gender thing, but perhaps it is... ive attached more pics of those two as well

Also, if any of you were curious about the fifth black one, i have also attached a few more (since Alex mentioned it looking like it had pink underneath).

Hmmm. Blue Angel confuses me. These new angles show me that Lavender or Splash doesn't seem right given her down color. Single comb, too. Time will tell, I think. :)

Yes, both are Faverolles. Examples of the same breed can vary. :D They may also be maturing at differing rates.

You know, this chick isn't completely black....there's some brown in there. Perhaps a Black Sex Link instead? :)

Awesome! thanks,

When they get older (if I remember) I will post photos of them just for those curious

And I just noticed the brown today too! Strange colouring for sure!

UPDATE: They are now just over a month old and some of them look very different! (And I think i have quite a few roosters, even though they were sexed at 90%, but I guess that is the luck of the draw - lets just hope they get along)

IMG_3640.jpg IMG_3639.jpg
Mainly brown yellow
IMG_3644.jpg IMG_3645.jpg

there is also another yellow type that we have three of, which i also managed to forget to photograph (its raining hard now, so will take later)

Not featured last time: the Frizzles! One appears to be male and one female
