Week old Swedish Flower Hens

It's amazing how different they all are! It's exciting to see and learn about uncommon breeds like those, I can't wait to see more pics of them.

I am excited...they have grown quite a bit since we received them last week. We built them a big brooder and it is in my living room right now. We are going to start working on their new coop hopefully this weekend. So in the end we will have three separate coops for all of our chickens.

These babies are gorgeous, I plan on ordering some very very soon! I am quite obsessed with this beautiful breed! When you ordered them from Greenfire farms did you have any fatalities upon their arrival? I'm asking because they are quite pricey..

All of the chicks were fine when we picked them up from the post office. They are all doing well eating and drinking and have a great time together. We ordered 12 and we received 13.

I am sooo jealous also. Maybe I can get some for my Anniversary present next year. I assume they were straight run Swedish Flower - not just hens. Was 15 the minimum?

Yes straight run. I hope you are able to get some they are really cute.
I do not think there was a minimum when we ordered them but the shipping was the same if we bought 3 or if we bought 12. We thought that 12 sounded like a good number to order, we were also thinking that some may not make it.
