    Hi!
I've noticed that one of my little chickens I got on Monday has poop on her exit.
I read somewhere that this isn't good but I don't exactly remember where I read it or how to prevent it or what bad it can cause.
    So, here I am!
I cut as much as the poop as I could away from the vent but there's a little bit left.
Anyone want to help me out?

    P.S. She's a fluffy baby.

that is pasty butt, take and wash it off with warm water and take a hair dryer and dry there butt back, then use a little cooking oil on there butt so it don't do it any more.

    Thanks!
Anyone have a second opinion on this matter?
I like to get a couple of different answers. [IMG]

What William said is pretty much the standard treatment for the gunky backside. [IMG] They must be kept clean there, because if they get blocked up, it's dangerous.
