Weekly Photo Journal Week 3- update pg 2

I ordered 6 GLW pullets & 5 of them have the flat comb like yours & the other one has the single comb like your other one. I was wondering the same thing, only what confused me is that the GLW is not supposed to have a comb like that ...they are supposed to have a rose comb if they have one at all. Where did you get your chicks? Mine came from healthy chicks & more.

I love it, but I'd make the older pics small and the newest ones large to lessen the amount of pages on the post. Here's my 3 week old GLW. This was actually taken last week, so she's closer to 4 weeks old now. Hope it's a pullet!

I think your BLRW are buff orpingtons, they look just like my chicks!

I agree...photo looks just like my Buff Orpington chicks who are not quite 2 weeks old.

Hi Peggy!!! It's nice to finally bump into you on here! Yeah, they do look identical to my BO's. They are such a sweet breed! I have one that can't resist snuggling in my hair. She will climb up on my shoulder everytime I pick her up and go under my hair, usually perform a little grooming on me and then snuggle down and go to sleep. (I am constantly checking her for parasites cause of the hair fetish, eww!) They have been so much fun, but they are growing so FAST!
I am beginning to believe one of my BO's is a ROO, and I am so excited about it!!! My hubby keeps insisting that you aren't a chicken owner if you don't have a roo, LOL

They both reassured me that they do indeed sell BLRW and that's what I should have gotten. She asked me to let her know if they turn out to be something other than BLRW.
