pretty hard. with little scratches on head not looking like a serious injury but he is just sleeping after it his head looks little swelled and eyes are closed when i touch him he responds by moving but eyes closed not eating or drinking anything no vets available. what could i do?? Please help

Sorry to hear about your mentally unwell brother and the animal coming to harm.

I'd guess best you can do is let it rest right now. If I recall correctly you're the poster in another thread who had issues with dyed chicks and mortality and lack of access to supplies for their health? If you can access the means, then you could give him some honeywater, just a bit of honey mixed with water, as it's both anti-inflammatory and nutritious and contains electrolytes. I wouldn't give him sugar as that is inflammatory. Honey is often ideal food for injured or ill animals that aren't up to solid foods.

I would suspect more harm is done than just a bang to the head, there's probably more injuries. While it may sound a bit strange to some, speaking with a soothing tone can help with traumatized animals. I've often dealt with rehabilitation cases and have experimented with using a soothing tone versus not speaking to them, and they definitely respond to a kind voice better. It can make a significant difference. I know it may sound odd but if you don't speak to the chook when you interact with it, you should at least try it. They won't understand the words, but they will understand the tone and it can make all your interactions with them easier and less stressful for them.

Best wishes.

Let him rest quietly away from your brother.
Really is out of your hands, he will recover if he can.
Water is important, the honey water is a good idea.
He may have damaged his neck vertebrae, hope he didn't.
quiet rest is best for now.
Good Luck.

I used ice pack on his head the swelling is there but he often opens his eyes during the process. I was using sugar water but now I`ll try honey water he is resting and looking lil better thanks hoping for the best

Best wishes with him. It's hard to tell when to use an icepack and when to leave the inflammation alone, as it's the body's protective mechanism. Hope he makes it.

Update:
By using ice pack and honey water the swelling is gone. I think one side of his face was banged to the wall so the swelling was on one side. He was standing in the morning by his own and was opening his eyes as and then. Here the temperature is around 40 degree celcius so is there any problem giving him honey water for energy? I am also feeding him cooked rice as he used to love it but now I have to open his beak and put the food inside :( he is not interested in eating or drinking at all. And is very much sleepy. I moved his neck both ways to check any pain but it seemed no sign but I am worried about his neck! On touching him now he makes chirping sound and on touching his beak and lifting his head he moves his head left to right three four times. Will he be OK? Thanks and regards

If he only takes in small amounts of honey water it won't be an issue.

Don't worry about feeding him too much, fasting is a healthy and natural response to most injuries, it gives their body a break from the work of digesting to redirect all their resources to healing.

It's still early, he's not starving. Some protein might go down well, if he wants a hard boiled egg, but he might not.

Best wishes.

Thanks for your time.
I try to feed him water and food from time to time. Sometimes he stands and open his eyes otherwise he is sleepy :( hoping for the best he is lovable part of our family hoping for his fast recovery!

Today he looks bit better standing swinging his wings looking at the food but not eating. He seems very scared may be in shock. He opens his eyes very wide open as he is scared. He takes few steps and then sleeps in standing position. Hoping for the best.
