When we woke up this morning, my husband noticed one of our eggs in the bator was weeping. This is our first time hatching, and we are using a brinsea octogon 40 dx. We immediately took out the egg and threw it away and it practically exploded in the garbage, but did not have the rotten smell that so many people talk about. Anyway, will our other eggs be ok? And I suppose we should be on the lookout for more? These eggs were shipped, so maybe it got scrambled? Thanks.

I'm wondering what day they start weeping if they are bad? My green eggs were impossible to see through for sure, so I only threw out my pure BO clear eggs and have 4 green unknowns in there. They are day 16-18 (my husband snuck eggs in after we started..ugh).. Would they be weeping by now if they were bad?

weeping eggs = rotten eggs in my experience. Anytime I see a weeping egg I remove it. All have been rotten.

We saved one using candle wax to seal the hole and the baby made it...It would depend on when in the incubation it occurred, if there was good development, I'd do what I could, if not, I'd toss it...
