
I gain weight everytime I go on Weight Watchers. Sigh. I swear I am following it faithfully too. I don't cheat. Somehow it just makes me gain weight. I finally gave up.
I just read an interesting article about weight loss that said the best method is to not diet, but to really limit your carbs. Sort of like Atkins, but more like the way humans have eaten for generations. It said eating protein and veggies until you are full is the best method for most. Carbs are the death nell. Sad, because I do love my carbs. It also said that no fat/low fat diets trigger all sorts of famine responses. The better bet is to eat those in moderation.
Dunno. Take all of this with a grain of salt. I am the size of a barn and don't ever seem to lose no matter the eating plan.
