I picked up these two barred rock pullets a week ago, they are around 16 weeks now, maybe 15 can’t remember. Anyway, the one has a tail that resembles a cochin tail. Both birds are the same size body wise, the one with the “cochin” tail has lighter barring coloring. (Not even sure if I’m spelling it right )
Neither has feathered feet. Can anyone tell me why this one’s tail looks different? They both make the same sound, typical pullet sounds. I’ve had young roosters before and none of them made those sounds. So I’m not even thinking it’s a rooster, just wondering what’s up with the tail.
