Weird behavior

Hello everyone! My duck started doing this today. Any idea of what it could be?

I gave him so a cut up tomato and he ate them without a problem. He’s still shaking his head though.

I am going to put him to take a bath so he can drink lots of water.

Hopefully that will help. I have had ducks make that head shaking movement before, and be able to swallow after drinking. Another time one threw up after some time and that resolved the issue. Another time it was a fungal mass pressing on the throat area.

If he keeps doing it after drinking you might consider taking him to an avian vet.

He stopped doing it after his bath so I think he did had something stuck in his throat. Upsy I overreacted ! Thank you though
