Weird behavior

I guess Phil is just bipolar
He needs grit and also he needs be able to wash his face more than a few times a day, watching my ducklings they get a bite then go straight to the water container and dunk their heads. They have to have water deep enough to do this all the time. Look in his nares to make sure he doesn't have them clogged up and put some unpasteurized ACV in his water. 1 Tab to 1 gallon you can mix it and put it into water you are giving him to drink out of but nothing metal when using ACV.

On the tractor feed and supply website it says to start feeding grit at 8 weeks of age, Phil is only 2 weeks old.

If your not giving Phil any thing other than starter then that's true. But most start giving treats and that's when the grit needs to be added.

Alright, I'm going Monday to get him grit. Is it possible that some kind of dust or pollen could be triggering it because I've been sneezing two and we're inseparable.

Could be pollen ,dust etc. does his nares looked clogged up? usually you can see straight through.

Perfectly clear
As long as he is acting normal I wouldn't worry too much , make sure after he swims he doesn't get chilled at 2 weeks he is still a wee one. also their crumble is pretty dusty too. so when he is eating he could be getting a lil dust in his nares. That's another reason why he needs to be able to blow his nares out 24/7.
