I have a year old partridge rock. last week she layed a "fairy egg" and since then stays in the nest and is acting "broody" she comes out to eat and drink, and looks lively when she does. She doesn't appear egg bound, the "finger test" was done and I didn't feel anything.... any ideas? should I be worried? could she be sick?

Could she just be broody? Rocks do go broody occasionally. The fairy egg then quitting would concern me a little, but they do seem to do them more often if they are starting or stopping a laying cycle. If you've checked her over well and she is acting fine otherwise, assuming you don't want to try and let her hatch eggs, would probably just try breaking her of being broody and see how she behaves.
