Weird Black bumps on Hen's Head

My hen's heads are covered in these weird black bumps, has any one had this happen to their chickens? Does anyone know what they are? I'm not sure if they're related to some kind of disease, or if the are normal...? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi,

I think I saw this in researching something else.

It was fowlpox. The external "dry?" looks exactly like your pic. It was not too dangerous, but needs some treatments, as opposed to the internal "wet?" which is much more harmful...to chickens that is.
