Weird chicken sound???

Should I be worried if my leghorn is making a weird high pitch noise?

Yes she layed today and yesterday and is still really playful and hyper.

I think she's singing the "egg laying song". If so, she's fine. They get excited when they lay eggs, and "sing".

Is it a long drawn out noise...like a whine....or.....?
Does she do it constantly or just once in while?
Have have heard a whine type sounds, not sure what it means.
