Weird crested duckling

ill post a better pic (this was straight out of the hatcher) but I hatched a grey call who looks to be crested, but the odd thing is that it’s a poof at the BASE of his neck! No wry neck, no fluid, it’s just like a crest but MUCH lower! Has anyone seen this before?

It is literally just down!!! It separates all the way to the skin!! Which is normal underneath! It’s officially been dubbed Simon Cowel! Since it looks like a scarf!!

Is there any fatty tissue under the poof? or is it just down?

No fatty tissue! It is just thicker/longer down! I’ve hatched hundreds of calls and quite a few crested... but this is the first I’ve seen like this!
