Some folks have suggested that their mule ducks laid eggs, but the few that I have had never laid eggs. It's not 100 % , but that bird looks very much like a young drake to me.

That is really cool info! Not necessarily correct. Mule ducks are crosses of two different duck species. Generally Muscovy/mallard or mallard derived crosses. They are sterile, and many of the hens do not lay eggs as they are physically incapable of producing them.
If I continue to feed them peas and corn twice a day each for the rest of their life how long do you think they’ll liveI have 4 ducks. So, I provide up to 1 cup per day for each of them. They never eat that much, but they eat what they want. My ducks are altogether so the 4 cups is in a feeder. They each take what they want.
I would say that they would live, but not a healthy life....therefore they will not live as long. I would say giving them food is what they need!! Treats are good once in a while, but feed is the main nutrition. If I continue to feed them peas and corn twice a day each for the rest of their life how long do you think they’ll live
Thank u so much, could you tel me an estimate though? Like how long do you thinkI would say that they would live, but not a healthy life....therefore they will not live as long. I would say giving them food is what they need!! Treats are good once in a while, but feed is the main nutrition.
I really don't know. How do they look/act? If I know that it could help me estimate. I really have no idea tho cuz thinking: wild ducks live of of things other then feed, but they don't live off of treats. They live off of grass, fish, there own eggs...etc. What kind did you say they were? If they were meant as wild ducks you could feed them(maybe) like wild ducks, but if they are domestic then they need the feed to help them grow. I really need someone else here to help me out with this one!!!Thank u so much, could you tel me an estimate though? Like how long do you think
