Weird Egg (Pix)

On Tuesday, I was cleaning the coop, and saw what looked like an Orpington feather, but when I got closer to it, it was a wet, sort of limp ballon type of thing. I figured it was an odd egg. Nothing was in it, and I assumed it got broken being laid.

rebbetzin, that looks really like the thing my youngest chick tried to lay a few months ago. It got stuck in her though and we had to pull it out ourselves (eek!). It was pretty gross! But we figured the "shell" was too soft for her to squeeze out so it's good that your girl managed to get it out! Weird, eh?!
