Not sure, maybe it landed in poop? Or maybe it's something else, if OP knew what chicken laid it maybe we could get some additional info

My new layers sometimes lay from the roost. If it survives the drop and collection, I carefully break it and scramble it. Sometimes they have poop and urea on them from the bedding, although not that much.
In case it’s poop, that’s a good reason to cook it fully.

Yeah, at Steff.... A soft egg can't develop a baby chicken right? Has to be hard shell. If rooster been there. An eggscopy....

It kind of looks like it might have leaked some white and yolk, or maybe another one was also laid nearby.

I was checking on the chickens this evening and I found this shell-less egg it seems , under one of the roosts. It looks like there is some kind of stuff on the bottom of it too?!

Is it a snake egg or a real chicken egg. It looks like grass is stuck to it. It might smell.... Rotten egg.

It's a soft shelled chicken egg.
Not a snake egg.
What am I going to do with you people?

It's just me. I'm scared of snakes.... I have a bullsnake the place I'm moving to.

I’m not sure what hen it came from but I assumed it was from one of my hens that hadn’t started lying yet. It almost seemed like the hen dropped it once it got on the roost ... I took a picture to share here then threw it away
