Weird egg.

Gathered eggs today, found this cutie in the nest box???!!!. All my brown egg layers laid today, I do have 12 week old cinnamon queen pullets with no red combs yet .
Could this be from the pullet?

It's likely not from any of the 12 week old pullets. Here is a good article that addresses egg oddities. See #14 for your example.

Looks like a fairy egg, also known as a pixie or fart egg. They are really cute, wish one of my quail would lay one. It would be so small!

Can you crack it and attach a photo? They sometimes have yolks, but sometimes don’t. There have been a few on this site that had other things inside them, like bits of cartilage, dashes of blood, etc.

I find them really fascinating.
