weird egg

I go collect the eggs this afternoon, reach in, and EW! soggy, gross. I look and, what the heck is that?! Ive had soft shell eggs before, but never with this much gook! LOL Wow! And there were two little hard chunks you can see behind the egg (if you want to call it that).

Even though I've had chickens for years, some things that come out of them makes me wanna poke my own eyes out. Those eggs happen but I'm so glad not very often.

Good grief... some of the strange egg pictures of the past couple of days have me rethinking if I really want to get some chickens! Yikes! I guess I'll just have to go look at some fuzzy butts as therapy

LOL Imagine the surprise reaching into the nest and feeling GOOK! LOL

It appeared to be a normal egg inside, otherwise. I threw it to the girls and they attacked it. It had a good big yolk too. It was pounced upon too quickly to notice if it was double yolk. It was a big egg!

It is odd how many are posting about the soft eggs lately... Moon? LOL
