Weird Egg

We have found a couple of eggs like this. They are never in the nesting boxes, but in the pen. Any help would be great.
The egg is not smooth, rather chalky in texture. It is larger than the eggs they usually lay. We have six wyandottes and only get three eggs per day. Wyandottes lay brown eggs.

Are your girls pullets or hens?? I have read that pullets can lay some strange eggs in the beginning. Maybe this one popped out before it was ready....didn't get sprayed with brown paint??

If its a reptile egg i wouldnt want to know i would be so far away i might be in the next state before you notice i was gone
