In the Brooder
Hi all My 5 Rhode Island Red Hens are 8 months old and have been laying good normal eggs. For about a week one of them has been laying a spotty light colored rough egg with a very thin shell. At first I thought not much of it, but it persisted. Today while I was watching over them free- range I noticed one girl limping. I removed some muck from between her pads and toes (nothing remarkable). Sprayed some bumble foot spray. I'm concerned now that something is related. I have no proof that she's the one laying the weird eggs though. Any thoughts? Pics attached for comparison of their normal egg color.
