One of my bantam chickens has been laying this kind of an egg for the past 3 days. The top pointy end of the egg is very thin and the bottom is very thick. I provide purina layena and free choice oyster shell.

What do you feed including treats?

Have you ever had respiratory illness in your flock?
I feed layena pellets and mix in some scratch grains. I just got her from someone and they fed her the same.

Well, you'll have to see if it straightens out on it's own.

Could be a glitch, shell gland defect, previous respiratory illness...among other things.

If you have a vet that can run a fecal float to see if worms are part of the issue, that would be good.

Okay I will see if it starts to get better.
