I have been treating my 3 monthish old araucana bantam hen for bumblefoot for three days now - I have been soaking her feet and debriding the scabs but I can't seem to lance anything. I found one other post where someone shared a photo that looked like Boo's feet and no one was sure what it was. Here are some photos - she has this on both feet:

Those are injuries, not bumblefoot. I would check her environment (especially the roosts) for sharp edges and splinters. If the reason for those scabs is not ascertained then you really will be dealing with bumblefoot shortly. What is she walking around on for bedding?

It may have been where a bumblefoot scab had fallen off on its own, I've seen that happen. There wasnt any surgery necessary neither. If she's not limping, no swelling nor redness on the bottom of the foot, and she's eating/drinking normally...I wouldnt worry about it.

I bought her only a week or so ago, she came to me like this. She was living in a coop with hard packed dirt floors. I didn't see any red flags in the space, nothing high to jump off of but I suppose during rainy season the floors might have been muddy? She is now living in the part of my yard with lawn and I took all the bedding out of the coop while I have been puttiing antibiotic ointment on the sores. They have definitely gotten better in the last few days with treatment. Should I keep soaking them?

If you feel that it would help, Keep treating. Is the wound open? In the pic it just looks like its a mark on the foot.

It's not open but if I picked the scab off it would be. At first I was trying to pull the scab away to get it to drain but nothing was draining and it was painful to her so I have just been soaking and putting antibiotic ointment on there. I don't think it shows well in the photo but it's like the scales on the pads of her feet are abnormally elongated. That's the case on both feet, she has a scab on the other foot too.
