Weird Human/Chicken behavior- confession.

Oh crap. I do all the noises.

Just remembered the craziest thing I did earlier this week. We recently rehomed 3 of our excess roos, leaving just Buddy, who was actually quite rooster whipped by the others. So now Buddy is all alone with six pullets. That night after rehoming the other three, they were all on the roost in the coop and I was walking up and down next to the roost military like giving the girls the chat about how now Buddy was the man, the only man and everybody better be on their best behaviour cause it was Buddy's job to keep them all in line. I went on to tell them that Buddy would surely be sweet to them and how lucky they were because I saved the most gentlemannly rooster for them. .... It turned out to be about a 10 minute lecture, some of the girls fell asleep before I was done.

If I don't get to chicken talk to mine, I'll "bok-bok-bok bah gurk" as I'm walking around the house doing things.....I just have to get it out of my system.

See? You're not alone!
