Weird incubator invention. Advice and tips?

So I am on a mission to create a fake broody hen. Basically, something that sorta looks like a chicken, but is an incubator you place on top of a clutch like a real broody would. It would have some sort of internal heating element and water storage inside for humidity. It would run off of batteries instead of electricity.

I'm in the design process right now, and would LOVE tips on material to use etc.

I'd use a dead, stuffed chicken.......can't get more natural than that.....
