weird lookin air sacs?! Will they hatch?

So far 3 have hatched and 1 is pipped. So there is hope for the over-large, deformed air sacs!

4 babies!

I started with 7 eggs - mailed to me. 2 never started. 4 hatched. The other one that didn't hatch had a very large air sac (like 3/4 of the egg) and I put an "x" on it when I first candled it - I didn't think it would make it.

Where did you get your hatching eggs from? Really good quality lookin chicks ya got there!! So beautiful. I have 8 that look like there gonna go into lockdown tuesday. Hope I atleast get 5!

They came from Marie Martin here on the board. They are definite cuties!

does she have a website? Those are sooo cute!! So some of those had a weird shaped air sac?? Thats excellent news! Did you hatch in an egg carton??

I'm not sure if she has a website. She had a listing on the "eggs for sale" section.

I do not use an egg carton to hatch. The incubator is a little Brinsea Mini, and I can't figure out how to make egg cartons work in there.
