Our SLW Sterling has a weird fluffy butt...I feel like some of the feathers are coming out. My mom says it's because she was just sitting somewhere wet but I feel like it's something else. Help! Is it vent gleet? Mites? Molting?

Sorry for the absence of pictures...I'll try to get one ASAP.

here are some pics

I know it's hard to see but there were some "gaps" in her feathers on her butt.

There is also whitish stuff around her vent. Sorry that there are no pics of that...

Mine has the same thing, looks like a droopy diaper hanging down. And, several of mine have whitish stuff back there but not near the skin, rather on the outer ends of the feathers. I've treated for lice, mites, and worms. Now I'll just wait it out. I think it's a molting thing, as this one's comb is not as red now. I've seen lots of feathers all over, but not her color so from someone else.

Can you post some different photos? I don't see anything but a fluffy butt:)

Depending on what you are seeing - a whitish discharge (?) around the vent could be Vent Gleet which is a yeast infection, but i don't see a nasty butt like you usually would with Gleet.
Take a look at these 2 links - they show pictures of what Vent Gleet looks like:
