pixiechic, I think your EE gets its body feathering from the Welsummer breed. My Baby has a body like yours, but the Welsummer gold color to her hawk-head. Aren't they pretty!

I am with the others posting here--
My Blue colored EE looks just like a hawk too....and is shaped like the others seen here on your post.
They are great birds--Enjoy yours!
