Weird looking egg

How old are your birds?
How long have they been laying?
What breed are they?
Was there a change a week ago...new feed or birds or predator?
4 eggs a day out of 3 birds?

They are a year old. Yes we were getting one egg each a day so 3 then all ignored a sudden for a few days we got 4 eggs for about 4 days straight then they stopped laying here thought it was because they laid too many this is our first chicken raising experience. Nothing changed no food changes no predators that I've seen

What breed are they?
High production hybrid birds (sexlinks, go by many names) are more likely to have reproductive system issues. That could be what you are seeing with the multiple eggs then soft shells.
Hopefully it smooths out.
It may be just one bird, if problem persists you may need to figure out which bird.

I have 2 rhode island reds and a Plymouth rock. I have one that started laying way after the other 2 and has been a little different so maybe its just that chicken?!?
