Weird Looking Silkie Chicks

Wondering if anyone has had silkie chicks that look like these two black ones. They are 7 weeks in this photo and have very little head feather with crazy Mohawks.. The also seem to have a weird shape head. I raised their mom and dad and neither looked this odd as chicks. Thanks in advance for any insight!

Mine got little 'mohawks' that's just the crest growing in

After a few weeks the fronts start growing in so it looks less nuts.

The white one is from my silkie cross hen and silkie rooster. The 2 black ones are from my silke hen and same silkie rooster. I hope the white one is a hen cause I just love him/her.

The white one looks like a total sweetheart! Ahh! That face is gorgeous. The other two are so gorgeous too!

I thought it looked like they're getting new feathers in and just in that awkward stage.
