Weird or normal chicken behavior??

So my chicken does this weird thing she will lay on her side on the cement I worry because I live in the hot state of Arizona so I do worry that she’ll get to hot or something she is my first chicken and my only one so I don’t know if this is a normal thing because she went from the ac to outside and the hot cement feels nice to her or is it normal or something not good So I’m hoping to get the Opinions of some experienced chicken keepers

Sounds like she is sunbathing. My hens do it ALL the time!

Yeah that's normal. Mine lay so weird I think well she's dead or just doing yoga. It's all good until I go bother them. I had three laying on their sides after a big dust bath all wings and legs. I just looked at them and said 'really' and got a little murmur response.

Chickens are awesome! I still can't believe how big they get after seeing a day old chick. It's like man they grow fast. I'm sure you're girl will do all sorts of things that will delight you. Just wait until you have running conversations with her. That's really fun I don't get looked at like I'm weird at all at my place

Lol I hear you I talk to her all the time and they are so smart and funny I love watching chickpea go on to our patio (Bug Buffett) and chase all the crickets and jumping to catch the moths lol

Does Chickpea have the chance to dustbath? She goes on your patio and the cement, but she needs some sort of dirt/ash/sand to bath in.

Extra question: Any reason you only have 1 chicken? They're social animals and do best with a flock.
