What do you call an egg that weighs precisely one ounce?![]()
Then they would be called Bantam Eggs. These are regular fully formed normal eggs, from very, very tiny bantam girls. We hard boil them and they are perfect bite size snacks.

I agree, it all depends on the size. Commercial eggs are from large fowl and primarily Leghorns for white eggs and ISA Browns (Red Sex-Links) for brown eggs. There may be outlets for bantam eggs.
Scrambled eggs anyone?I got another first today. Has anyone seen this??? It's was a shell less egg. But inside was a shriveled yolk, very thick gel light white and this HUGE LONG HARD WHITE tube looking thing. Gross..![]()

Is it possible for a soft shelled egg to be fertile and to actually hatch? Providing the mother doesn't sit on it and squish itBut if it was put in an incubator or something. I'm assuming it can't but I don't know.![]()
Oh I don't have one I was just curiousPossible it could be fertile but I wouldn't recommend incubating it in any way.
Quote: @puffypoo22 Curious if you have tested you egg scale against a good kitchen scale for accuracy?
You may even be able to calibrate/adjust the egg scale.
The scale I think is a little off. I will try and fix it. But today the jumbo egg was opened and it was double yolked!! YAY!!![]()
