Weird red spot on egg

Hi everyone,
I have an eight year old hen who lays eggs about every other day. It’s not consistent but every time she lays them they are great except for occasional calcium deposits.
the past two eggs she has laid have had these weird bloody spots on them. I took a picture of the one she just laid now. It was slightly covered in calcium deposits so I have to pull it away and I also got rid of some of the shell around it to see if there was more or not.
what seems to be going on with her? I wouldn’t really say it is ‘bloody’ but I don’t really know what else it could be... thanks!

There was also three small blood clotty looking things when I cracked the egg open

I’m so sorry no one has answered. I apologize, as I do not have any knowledge on this subject. Maybe @Eggcessive would know? My first thought would be meat spot, or blood spot, but I’m not so sure. I hope someone will be able to help you!

Looks like blood that got trapped in the shell making process
