This chicken is older and I adopted her bc she was the only one left in her flock. She seems to have this big wobbly sack hanging where wattles would be. Does not appear to be wattles or crop. Old owner said they think it’s always been there. Any ideas? It’s black and has feathers

Known as or looks like a beard.. unless there's something I'm not seeing.

The bearding gene inhibits wattle size. Commonly seen on certain breeds such as Ameraucana, Faverolles, and sometimes Easter Eggers.. among others such as Silkies and some Polish.

ETA: looks like she might be a bearded Easter Egger.
