We get them every once in a while, my kids call them "flintstone eggs".
Always from one of our NHRs.

Insides are fine, but the shells are brittle compared to normal looking eggs - ours will break if we boil them.
 
I saw a post on here somewhere that indicated that the hen that laid that egg has had some type of disease, I think it was respiratory, and that is the reason that it is like that. You might want to research a little further. If I find the post I will let you know. I'm definitly no expert.
