Have you ever heard of shipping eggs in bird feed or start and grow? Someone at the feedstore says that they bought hatching eggs from Japan and they came in bird feed. He was confused. All of the eggs hatched! I order eggs from a state away and the eggs still never hatched. Have you ever tried shipping this way before??

I imagine the shipping charges would be at least double because of the weight. A shipping box full of bird feed isn't light.

Maybe that's a way around customs...hmmmm. Especially if its marked 'bird feed'. It's not food grade so it wouldn't need inspected. Interesting. Wonder if that works to Canada?
