weird sound?

hi guys! i’m very new to owning quails and my quail started making this weird sound after laying an egg, i’m not sure if it’s something that i should be worried about. please let me know also she’s been panting a lot after laying an egg, hoping she is fine .

Is she by herself or with other quail? Don't think that's an 'egg song' but maybe a call to see if anyone else is around? Personally, I have never heard that squeal come from a bird that wasn't being attacked!

To me it sounds like a peculiar sounding egg song. But I'm not sure. The panting worries me if it doesn't go away. You say she pants only after laying?
