Weird thing found on chicken house floor

Hi Everyone, not sure whether this is the best place to post my question, but this morning when doing daily chicken chores next to the normal overnight poop piles was this. It’s a firm rubbery texture and is all one long thing. Has anyone seen this or know what it may be or mean?

Looks like Lash material which is Salpingitis.

If you know which hen it came from, you can try treating with an antbiotic.

We only have 3 hens right now, they are mostly past their egg laying prime, and I’m not sure which one it came from. Thanks for answering—I’ll read into lash egg info.

Yes, Wyorp Rock is correct, it is lash egg material, a product of salpingitis or inflammation of the oviduct. It is a common illness in hens over 2 or 3.
