Weird thing on ducks foot

Hello!
My was cleaning up my drake (he has an unrelated injury of a scraped up beak) when I noticed raised brown scales on the bottom of his feet. I have taken care of bumble foot in my chickens before and it never looked like this so I was unsure what it is. Does not effect his movement and does not seem to cause him pain.
I cleaned it up really well and took pictures for reference and than put iodine on it and put him on fresh chips.
Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to BYC! It’s just dry. My ducks get this in dry weather or if they do not have access to water they can swim in. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t get infected. He’ll be alright!

He's been in a crate for a couple days due to the bill injury so that might explain it.
