Deformity would have been my first thought too, but it's interesting that you have it in several birds that aren't related.

Any changes to roosting bars, bedding or where they forage/range? I'm just not sure what's going on with those, if it doesn't seem to bother them, then I would just keep watch.

We’ve battled with leg lice in the past and we’re still keeping up with the treatment, could that be it?? And we’ve had the same roosts, type of bedding, and run for almost 10 years now so I don’t think it’s any of those.

You know...I don't know. Could be what Scaly Leg Mites looks like in the beginning. Most people that have those, the toe and leg scales are raised, but I could see where it could start with a toe.
