Very interesting.

I wonder if some hatchery quality Houdans would only have 4 toes.

The comb looks consistent with a houdan. Very unique.

I am not familiar with these, but it also has the v comb, and only 4 toes. Seems to be most common in black.

I’m pretty sure these came from hoovers hatchery. That’s at least what I remember being told so I’m not sure

Oh absolutley. Although, i don't stand behind my initial sexing anymore. These look like the houdan and sexing is probably difficult.

But you can breed whatever you want to. It is always fun to see the chicks produced by certain combinations of chickens.
