I have this hen that's been standing in a weird way. She's been doing it for a week or two. I thought that she was just laying an egg, but I don't think that's the case because she does it 24/7. Sometimes she'll do a weird head bobbing thing too. Does anyone no what's wrong with her?

Could she have an egg inside her that is broken? That’s the thought that came to my mind. They act way differently when they’re wanting a boyfriend btw.

I was wondering if that was the issue. Is there a way that I can check?
My hens stand like that when they are hormonal. Once they are laying well they don't stand like that unless they are too warm
Check to make sure she doesn't have a mating injury. Look under her wings and in front of her legs.

I just checked over under her wings, around her legs, and on top of her back, and I didn't see anything.

I think she does it all the time, but I really have no way of knowing. She might just see or hear me coming and does it.
