My baby turkey keeps standing and falling back like this while closing its eyes nonstop, she is also leaning her head down constantly too. What’s happening? She’s been constantly doing this for at least 10 mins straight without stopping. What am i supposed to do?? She is also struggling to eat.

Look up stargazing poults.

Your brooder appears to be too small. It is not recommended to brood poults on wood chips or with waterfowl.

If you brood poults on wood chips, they need to have access to appropriate sized grit so they can digest the wood they might eat.

Could be neurological. Vit deficiency. What are you feeding it.
Poults need turkey or game bird starter. Most poults that have issues have been fed chick starter.
I’ve been feeding them chick starter since I ran out of game bird starter!

Thank you! I’ll be separating them from now on, what else can I do to save the chick? And how big exactly should the brooder be? I have 7 other poults.

You can try giving it a drop of Nutridrench. Be careful to not aspirate the poult.

For 7 poults I would use at least a 4 sq. ft. brooder. The object is to have a brooder big enough to have warm and cool zones with the food and water in the cool zone.

You need to get the poults on a proper high protein turkey or game bird starter.
