Weird ? - what would make a package of sausage blow up?

I'm having a problem right now with my seizure disorder and even the best, freshest meat smells bad while I'm cooking them, so I can't imagine trying to cook and eat this.

Just a thought- Is your freezer working properly?

I don't have a thermometer handy to put in the freezer right now. Well I could, but the chicks would be very unhappy if I took their "play toy". I can tell you that it freezes ice cubes in the trays within an hour.

After two days of being frozen solid, it is still expanding. That's not water expanding as it freezes. It has to be making gas. Is that Jimmy Dean's Cajun Style? Those hot spices might explain some of that. No, wait. That's after you eat it.

Yeah, I'd get rid of it.
