Weird ? - what would make a package of sausage blow up?

I did mine before I left for work this morning, but I stacked a coffee mug on top of an utensil. Guess I'd better go home and rewash.

Imp- Does this mean I need to start stacking the dirty laundry a certain way too.

NO we wash them before they go in the dishwasher too... i have a sink of soapy water and just rinse/wash them quick in that before they go in the machine..

Appreciate the offer, but my fingernails are already pretty clean. Maybe tomorrow night. I need to do some work in the garden tomorrow so I'll probably have dirty fingernails tomorrow night. I just can't find anything that gets the grime out from under my fingernails better than washing dishes in hot soapy clean water.

Taz, dishwashers may be able to wash dishes now, but if the water is dirty, they don't do as good a job. If I don't rinse off the dishes before they go in, little flecks of food particles can show up on things. It's really not that appetizing when I get a "clean" glass for some water and see little specs of food particles on the glass.

I also keep my wash water clean by rinsing the dishes well before they go in the wash water. How people expect to get dishes clean when the wash water is dirty is beyond me.

My old dishwasher would leave chunks

if you didn't rinse first. The one I have now has a prewash cycle that rinses off the bits, grinds them, then drains them away. The wash water stays quite clean followed by the rinse cycles. I am very comfortable just scraping now.
